Ellington Infant School
Our School Values
At Ellington we are guided by 4 key school values. This set of values is designed to highlight what we believe in and set the course of travel for the school. These values can be seen as a guide to success that we can explore with the school community, to ensure that everyone reaches their full potential.
Community
Ellington is a school placed ideally in the centre of its locality, and we are here to serve our community. As a school, we are also our own community, including children, families, staff and governors – we need to promote care, love and respect appropriately within our community so that we can all, child and adult, thrive and reach our full potential.
Ambition
Adults in school should have the highest ambitions for all of our children. We also want our children to have great ambitions of their own, and to aspire to great things. This same sentiment applies to all the adults in school – we celebrate courage and support those who want to develop. Ambition is the first step on the way to success.
Determination
Once the ambition is set, we need to keep on giving it our all. Determination from us to ensure that the children will achieve their best. Determination from the children by showing resilience and not giving up. We want everyone to understand that consistent effort yields results.
Success
The result of all the hard work that came before. We want everyone in our school community to experience the feeling of success, through high academic achievement and personal development.
